How It All Began...
Hello and thank you for popping in! I'm Mon, the face behind Calm & Cozy.
A little bit about me! I'm a mum of 3 incredibly great children, a partner, daughter & sister. My favourite place to be in my downtime is with my friends & family in the comfort of my own home & space (as long as it’s a clean and organised space or I actually can’t relax haha!)
After the passing of my adored Dad in September last year, I took some time out to grieve & reflect on many aspects of life. I thought a lot about what would make me truly happy and as a result, I made a brave yet somewhat scary & risky decision.
It was time to focus on doing something I loved and wanted to see grow. I was going to bring to life what I had been tirelessly working on over the last two years, Calm & Cozy.
For the last few years, I have been working full time for myself running my own successful, small cleaning and home organisation business in Canberra, which i am still currently doing whilst building & growing Calm & Cozy.
It has been through my work, that I have noticed myself and many of my customers moving away from harsh chemical based cleaning solutions & self care products and opting for more natural & effective products.
Natural products full of goodness for both personal use and cleaning needs have never been more sort after, which is great to see and even better to be a part of creating!
Inspiration & What Has Followed...
After years of unit living and wishing I had the luxury of a bath, I began to look for products available that I could use at home using only a shower.
Here I discovered a big void in the market for natural relaxation, to help with common cold & flu symptoms or to simply unwind, unless you ultimately had a bath to soak in. 
My research led me to have a random and a tad crazy idea of developing a completely natural "bath bomb for your shower"and here is where it all began!
It’s been quite the journey creating these little pods of aromatherapy perfection for you to indulge in when you shower!
Over the course of more than 2 years, I have dedicated countless hours into developing what I believe is a perfect, natural formula with such an incredible aroma.
There have been some great highs and many, many lows during this process (including so many failed attempts & lots of tears at times) to now, proudly creating these phenomenal, 100% natural shower steamers full of Aromatherapy goodness that everyone can enjoy at home.

I individually hand make & craft each steamer in small batches, using 100% Natural Clays & colourants, 100% Pure Essential oils, Anhydrous Citric Acid, raw natural ingredients and organic botanicals.
All products I use are sourced solely within Australia from specialised Australian suppliers, Wholefood Stores and other Australian businesses.
